These terms apply to all users including free, Pro, and Challenge tier subscribers. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of financial guidance. The AI coaching feature provides psychological and behavioural insights based on user-entered data — it does not predict market movements or recommend specific trades.
All trading decisions are made solely by the user. TraderPsych, its founders, employees, and AI systems are not registered financial advisors. Past performance data shown in your journal does not guarantee future results.
Trading financial instruments involves significant risk of loss. You acknowledge and accept that you trade at your own risk entirely.
TraderPsych is a subscription-based SaaS (Software as a Service) trading journal platform. We provide:
The service is provided via web browser at traderpsych.app. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time with reasonable notice.
You must create an account to use the service. You must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at hello@traderpsych.app. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits is prohibited and will result in termination of all accounts.
We offer three subscription tiers: Explorer (free), Pro ($15 USD per month), and Challenge ($29 USD per month). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to local taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Free tier limits: 30 trades per month and 3 AI coaching calls per day. Exceeding limits requires upgrading to a paid tier.
Payment is processed by Stripe — we do not store your payment card details. By subscribing you authorise recurring monthly charges until cancellation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting hello@traderpsych.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have paid for.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical failures on our part that prevented access to the service for more than 72 consecutive hours.
To request a refund contact hello@traderpsych.app within 14 days of the charge.
You own your trading data. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your trade data to train AI models beyond generating your personal coaching responses. Your data is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security — only you can access your own data.
We collect: account email, trade data you enter, session notes, and usage analytics. We use this data to: provide the service, generate AI coaching, send weekly review emails (if opted in), and improve the product.
You may export all your data at any time using the CSV export function. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@traderpsych.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database), Anthropic (AI coaching), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting). A full Privacy Policy is available at traderpsych.app/privacy.
The AI coaching feature uses Anthropic's Claude AI model. AI coaching is generated based on the trade data you enter and is intended for educational and psychological self-reflection purposes only.
AI responses may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI coaching does not constitute professional psychological, financial, or medical advice. We make no guarantee that following AI coaching suggestions will improve your trading results. You use AI coaching at your own risk. We are not liable for any trading losses or decisions made based on AI coaching responses.
You agree NOT to:
TraderPsych, its logo, design, code, features, and content are owned by TraderPsych and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal journaling purposes during your subscription.
You retain full ownership of the trade data and notes you enter. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the TraderPsych platform without our written permission.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADERPSYCH AND ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF TRADING PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We aim to maintain high availability of the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, Stripe, Resend), internet connectivity issues, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We do not offer service level agreements (SLAs) on free tier accounts.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you:
Upon termination you lose access to the service. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination before permanent deletion. You may terminate your own account at any time by contacting hello@traderpsych.app.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TraderPsych shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation by contacting hello@traderpsych.app.
If resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations.
